Fireworks may be enjoyed within the Windom City Limits on the following dates and times.
July 1st 2nd & 3rd: 9 am-11 pm
July 4th: 9 am – Midnight
July 5th: 9 am – 11 pm
Please, do not shoot off fireworks at other times.

It shall be unlawful for any owner, agent, lessee, tenant or other person occupying or having charge or control of any premises to permit weeds to remain upon said premises or any area between the property lines of said premises and the centerline of any adjacent street or alley, including but not specifically limited to sidewalks, streets, alleys, easements, rights-of-way and all other areas, public or private. All weeds as hereinafter defined are hereby declared a nuisance and are subject to abatement as hereinafter provided. (Code 1998)

If you have items of a historic nature for display at City Hall please contact us. We are also looking for more display cases to display items and keep them safe. Windom has a rich history and we are happy to display items for the public to view. If you wish to view them when the clerk is not in, please contact us and we will make every effort to open up City Hall for you.

Section 1:
(A.) "All-Terrain Vehicle" means any motorized non-highway vehicle 65 inches or less in width, having a dry weight of 2,300 pounds or less, traveling on 3 or more low-pressure tires, having a seat designed to be straddled by the operator; No 3-wheelers will be permitted.
Section 2:
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate an All-Terrain vehicle upon any street, alley, roadway, highway, right-of-way, public way or public place within the City of Windom, Kansas.
